Abstract
The author lifts a question on necessity of research of criminality from the analysis and estimations of the empirical data on criminality with use of methods of a science of statistics. Competent studying of criminality demands realization of preparation of experts - criminology for what it is required to enter into their educational program a subject matter on legal statistics and applied criminology.
